every year to lose weight and get healthy are top of the list of Americans make resolutions. It's easy to say you want to make a change, but implementing that change can be difficult. the success of the diet is based around a number of factors, including exercise, nutrition and motivation. We wondered what the typical habits of people who followed a diet before. How many times do they have? Have they been dieting since a young age, or are they just starting now? How are their diet? What obstacles had them fail when their plans have failed?

For the answers to these questions and more, we interviewed more than 500 people of 18 and over. Check out the infographic below to see how often people are working, they use online tools to track their healthy habits, which kept their plans to be a success and other habits of dieting.
